Ryan has a master’s in soil science from Oregon State University and is our resident Compost Scientist. Ryan works in our on-site lab conducting experiments on feedstocks and testing various compost mixes to ensure our clients have all the data in hand before investing in a compost system. Prior to ECS Ryan worked for ten years in organic agriculture certification, traveling to farms large and small across the U.S., as well as several years overseas in Afghanistan doing agricultural development projects.
